There are many practices for Full Moon time, which can help to create a bridge to new consciousness and manifest positive changes.

Some of the practices are really simple but very effective. Here is one of them:

Write down on a piece of paper those aspects of your character, negative life situations or emotions that you wish to release and transform into positive energy.  Then place the paper into a fire (it is OK to use candle) and watch it turns into ash.

On the Full Moon Day practice chanting mantras to raise your vibrations.  One of the most traditional Full Moon mantras is the Gayatri Mantra:

Om Bhur Buvaha Suvaha
Thath Savithur Varenyam
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi
Dhiyo Yonaha Prachodayath

Translation:

We meditate on the glory of that Being who has produced this universe; may He enlighten our minds.

Goddess Gayatri is worshiped as the mother of all Gods in Hinduism. She is the consort of Lord Brahma and a manifestation of the Goddesses Lakshmi, Parvati and Saraswati. This goddess has five faces and she influences the five senses and five life forces.
